Position Held: Freelance Senior Copywriter

Brief:

I was brought onto this project to write the copy for a new version of an existing site that Rehab agency had built for Google (USA)- Google My Business. The website gives small and medium businesses in the US insights on how they can get the most out of their listing on Google and was scheduled to be updated and relaunched in International SMB week. 

A main consideration of the project was Google’s response to COVID-19 which they wanted to communicate throughout the site. 

The copy also had to be in American English and consider the nuances of American culture and language. 

Result:

The main challenge with the project was meeting the tight deadline because the design had to be changed several times. With each design change there were also several versions based on different user journeys. However, the project was completed on time and launched as you can see below.
