Position Held: Content Strategist

Brief:

I was brought into Coconut because the company had decided to put a focus on content as a means to drive growth but there was no strategy in place to do so. They needed someone to come in and create this strategy and build the team that would implement it.

 
 

Result:

Initially, I began by looking at the historical data across all of the content, social, community and email channels to do a gap analysis, data analysis and competitor analysis. 

I then work with the product and design team on a content calendar that incorporated all of the key features on the roadmap and company updates.

I then hired new freelance writers to begin commissioning content which I both managed and edited. Additionally, I worked with the partnership team to both secure and nurture content partnerships with external stakeholders.

I also refined and implemented content processes to make the team more efficient which included scheduling and reporting. 

I also worked with senior stakeholders to create TOV documents and content guidelines.
